Disaster and Emergency Management
This visionary project, which we plan to implement as İncirliova Municipality, aims to equip our city's main avenues with a digital neural network by utilizing the existing fiber optic infrastructure of service providers such as Türk Telekom, Turkcell, and Vodafone. Within the scope of the project, high-resolution digital screens (LED) and IP-based smart audio systems to be placed at strategic points within our jurisdiction will be managed with a single click from a central control room located in our municipal building.
The primary objective of this technological transformation is to take communication with our citizens beyond paper posters and traditional methods; presenting municipal services, up-to-date announcements, and our projects to the public in an instantaneous, aesthetic, and cost-effective manner. Simultaneously, the system will create a prestigious advertising medium for the private sector, providing a sustainable source of revenue for our municipality.
The most critical function of the project emerges under the heading of "Disaster and Crisis Management." Should our city face a potential disaster (earthquake, flood, fire, etc.), the system will switch to "Emergency Mode" within seconds; all commercial broadcasts will be suspended, and the screens will display guidance maps for the nearest assembly areas, secure zone navigation, and calming/informative messages from official authorities. Concurrently, regional evacuation instructions and voice alerts will be transmitted through the IP announcement systems.
In the aftermath of a disaster, this digital network will serve as the city's most reliable information hub for matters such as missing person notices, coordination of aid collection points, locations of mobile soup kitchens, and the announcement of up-to-date need lists. Furthermore, communication disruptions for our citizens will be prevented through free Wi-Fi services to be provided at these nodes. This project, which will elevate İncirliova to a "Smart and Resilient City" model, is not merely an advertising platform, but a digital protective shield that safeguards the city's security and quality of life.
